The beloved New York-based blues-rock quintet Blues Travelers stopped by the Print Shop in Marietta, Ga., for a virtual performance and interview on Live at the Print Shop. For the segment, the Grammy award-winning band performed deep cuts and favorites, including their grammy-award winning song “Run-Around,” and talked in-depth about their history and story.

In their talk, Blues Traveler spoke about busting into the music scene in 1987 with a trio of albums their self-titled 1990 debut, 1991’s Travelers and Thieves, and 1993’s Save His Soul. Their next album, aptly titled Four went platinum six times and featured “Run-Around,” which won Grammy for Best Rock Performance By a Duo or Group. The performance and conversation both proved why Blues Traveler have been able to tour and sell-out shows worldwide for 20-some odd years.

Live at The Print Shop debuted in July of 2019 and was started by Adam Blank in his retro-refined print shop. Since then, the multi-camera program consisting of 40 minutes of performance and 30 minutes of interviews has welcomed artists with huge ambitions and established groups with unmatched admiration, from The Mavericks and The White Buffalo to the esteemed Blues Traveler.

Of the production, Blank said, “It’s one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. I do it for the satisfaction that comes with giving musicians a platform and new opportunities to share their music with a wider audience.”
