The Greyboy Allstars have announced a forthcoming 10-track cover album, entitled Get a Job: Music From The Original Broadcast Series Soul Dream, due on April 1 via Knowledge Room Recordings. The band has also shared the first single and music video

This is the sixth studio recording to date from the quintet comprised of Karl Denson (saxophone, flute), Elgin Park (guitars), Aaron Redfield (drums), Chris Stillwell (bass), Rober Walter (keys).

The LP was recorded live during The Greyboy Allstars’ 2021 Soul Dream livestream series on Nugs.net. Their press release states, “The set notches up the band’s own jazz-funk and boogaloo narrative by spotlighting ten unique, never-before-released covers that have become an integral part of their famed live performances for nearly three decades, including songs by Gil Scott-Heron, Gene Ammons and Burt Bacharach.”
