David Crosby has announced he will be rereleasing his solo debut album If Only I Could Remember My Name, 50-years after its original release. The reissue will feature more than a dozen alternate takes and unreleased demos. The new edition is scheduled to release on Oct. 1.
In March, Crosby announced that he had sold his entire catalog to Iconic Artists Group, an Azoff Company, due to money issues from his not being able to tour throughout 2020.
To support the announcement Crosby released one of the demos that will be featured on the reissue titled “Riff 1 [Demo].”

September 4, 2021 at 11:54 amI have a few bootlegs with material from this album and others that I’ve always loved. I’m a bit of a hoarder when it comes to music so I’m looking forward to adding this on to my collection.

September 6, 2021 at 3:26 pmRight on; always been one of my top favorite albums. Any time it is mentioned, I almost assume they will get the name wrong; it is a pet peeve but what is so damn difficult about clarifying the title before blurting out the wrong sequence of words on record??
