On Feb. 7, Spafford began their 3-night run at New York City’s Brooklyn Bowl. The band opened the run with a Grateful Dead cover.
The first set began with a performance of “Shakedown Street.” According to setlist.fm, they debuted the cover early this year on Jan. 17, and the performance at the Bowl only their second ever. Next, the band played a standalone “Mind’s Unchained,” followed by a pairing of “Hollywood” > “The Remedy.” The set closed with an extended version of “Plans.”
Spafford continued to push their jams during the second set. After an opened “America,” the band performed a duo of “Doghouse” > “Part ii.” Next came “My Road (My Road),” followed by “Peaches.” The set closed with “Galisteo Way.” Spafford opted for “The Reprise” for the encore.
The band returns to the Brooklyn Bowl tonight, Feb. 8, for their second of three shows there. Check out the full setlist from night one at the Bowl below!
