Jeff Tweedy will once again return to the small screen next year, as the Wilco frontman has been confirmed as a guest on the upcoming 10th season of HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm, according to a report from Variety.
The television show, which stars Larry David as a slightly exaggerated version of himself, returned for season nine back in 2017 after originally ending its run in 2011. The 10th season, which will feature Tweedy in an as-yet-unconfirmed role, is expected in 2020.
According to Variety, Tweedy is friends with Curb star and executive producer Jeff Garlin. The musician has also appeared in TV comedies like Portlandia and Parks and Recreation, in which he played the frontman of a iconic Indiana-based group Land Ho.
Tweedy will return to the road with Wilco next month and has kept busy since his band’s last headlining appearance in the fall of 2017, releasing solo material along with a memoir, Let’s Go (So We Can Get Back), last year. Learn more about Tweedy and the book in this Relix feature from the December 2018 issue.
