Founding members of The Hatters Tom Kaelin and Adam Evans reunited Friday during Gent Treadlys show at Finally Freds in New York City (Kaelin is the full-time drummer and vocalist for that band). Evans (guitar) sat in for the entire three-set show, which included Im Telling Mommy, Green River and Muldar the Elephant.
The Hatters emerged from the New York City grass roots music scene in the early nineties. The group signed with Atlantic Records in 1993 and released the highly-recommended Live Thunder Chicken, followed by 1994s_ The Madcap Adventures of the Avocado Overload_. Both albums were produced by Michael Barbiero, who has most recently worked with Govt Mule on The Deep End albums.
