Agents of Good Roots has confirmed that its New Year’s Eve gig at will be the band’s final performance ‘for the foreseeable future.’ Following, the December 31 show, which will take place at Alley Katz in the group’s hometown of Richmond, Virginia, all four band members will focus on other musical projects. Andrew Winn (guitar, vocals) intends to release a new solo classical album, followed by a solo rock release. Drummer/vocalist Brian Jones will perform with a number of side projects, including: Jones/Kuhl/McCavitt, Boots of Leather, and Sugar the Pill. Saxophonist JC Kuhl will join Modern Groove Syndicate full-time. Finally, bass player Stewart Myers will focus on the development of his recording studio.
