The Recipe has announced that three of its members will be parting ways with the band. The group said in a statement that Hannah Ross (fiddle), Jim Kuras (bass) and Julie Edlow (guitar, vocals) will leave the band and all shows through April 10 will be canceled. ‘This was their decision,
not ours. As you know, Hannah’s health has been a concern for some time. We
cancelled the next two weeks of dates to allow her to rest. She has informed
us that she feels it is in the best interest of her health not to return to
the road. Jim has chosen to resign to pursue other interest and to support
Hannah. While we are saddened by this decision, we respect their wishes and
wish them all the best with their future endeavors. Julie also has expressed
her wishes to leave the band and remain closer to her home area of
Baltimore… Hannah, Jim and Julie have been a joy to work with and have made incredible musical contributions to the band. We thank them for the best year ever in the
ongoing musical journey that is The Recipe.’
Julie will perform with the band through Early May. For the full statement and tour information, visit www.therecipe.com.
