DJ Logic and guitarist Vernon Reid will tour this fall as the Yohimbe Brothers. They have collaborated many times over the years, dating back to the mid-nineties, when Logics band Eye and I toured as the opening act for Reids group, Living Colour. The duo will be touring in support of its album, Front End Lifter, which includes guest appearances by Doug Wimbish (Living Colour), Slick Rick and Prince Paul. The national tour kicks off October 7 at Grinnell College in Grinnell, IA and will route west, before returning to the Northeast and concluding in the Southeast.
As for the name Yohimbe, its an African root that stimulates male sexual performance. For the complete tour schedule, visit www.djlogic.com.
