Trardson, (a.k.a. Slim Kid 3, formerly of The Pharcyde) joined String Cheese Incident last night at Dobson Arena in Vail, CO as the band kicked off its annual Winter Carnival series. Hardson, who opened the show, took the stage during Black and White midway through the second set. The show also included a traditional Irish jig, in celebration of St. Patricks Day.
Hardson has performed with The Roots, as well as The Headhunters, adding lyrics to their 1998 album, Return of the Headhunters. He also worked with actor-turned-rapper Brian Austin Green (thats David Silver to all of you closet 90210 fans) on his 1996 release, coincidentally titled, One Stop Carnival.
String Cheeses Carnival continues tonight at Dobson Arena with special guests Donavon Frankenreiter & Dean Butterworth. For details, visit www.stringcheeseincident.com.
