Galactic has announced plans for a fall tour in support of its new album, Ruckus. The CD, which was produced by Dan The Automator, is due out October 7 on Sanctuary. The main goal was to concentrate on songwriting more than we ever had before, utilizing as many different techniques as possible, says drummer Stanton Moore. So we wrote the old-fashioned way, coming up with verses and choruses, fine-tuning lyrical content. The tour kicks off October 9 at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, BC and includes stops in Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Texas, Louisiana, South Carolina, Georgia, North Carolina, Washington DC, Connecticut, Vermont, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maryland and Philadelphia.
The full schedule is available at www.galacticfunk.com.
