Phish bassist Mike Gordon has been cleared of all charges related to the incident on August 11, when he was found alone with a nine-year-old-girl in a boathouse backstage at a Dead concert in New York. Gordon was cleared of child endangerment charges and trespassing at a hearing this morning. He said that he had been giving the girl rides on his Segway scooter and entered the boathouse to take art pictures of her. Both were found fully clothed. Shortly after his arrest, Gordon and the girls parents released a statement that read, We have had several discussions regarding the situation that occurred at Jones Beach. It is now clear to all involved that this was an unfortunate misunderstanding, and we look forward to putting this matter behind us.
