The Remarkable Elba Kramer is more than just a palindrome (as if anything could be more than just a palindrome). It is a also a quartet comprised of The String Cheese Incident’s Kyle Hollingsworth, The Motet’s Dave Watts, Ross Martin (Tony Furtado Band, Matt Flinner Quartet) and Matt Spencer (Vine Squad, The Motet). The group will perform two Colorado shows later this week in preparation for studio sessions to follow (with any luck the album to follow will have a palindrome for a title as well). Elba will gig at Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver this Friday and Trilogy Lounge in Boulder on Saturday.
