Reports are now in regarding Jam Cruise 2 (with additional details certain to follow tomorrow). For instance, the Disco Biscuits closed out their final appearance with a number of guest musicians sitting in for Sam Altman (who was indeed still on the boat after 10 days but feeling ill). Drummers for the Biscuits 2am – 5am set included Stanton Moore (Galactic), Mike Dillon (Frog Brigade), Darren Pujalet (Particle) and Tyler Greenwell (The Codetalkers). Particle keyboard player Steve Molitz joined in as well, which is quite fitting as a number of artists sat in with Particle during its performances on the boat including Rob Wasserman (who will tour with the group starting Feb 2).
The Biscuits will perform in Tampa on Thursday and then return to Ft. Lauderdale for two nights at the Culture Room on Friday and Saturday with proceeds to benefit the young daughter of Biscuits fan Jeremy Wainland, who passed away in July.
