In a rare move, the Disco Biscuits have announced opening acts for two nights of its upcoming New Years run. On December 28, the Brakes, who hail from Aron Magner’s hometown, will join the Disco Biscuits at Philadelphia’s Tower Theater. On December 30, the Spin Doctors will perform before the Disco Biscuits at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom. New York native Marc Brownstein saw the Spin Doctors at the Wetlands on many occasions over the years, often sharing the stage with one of his favorite acts, the now defunct Authority.
