Bassist Marc Brownstein hinted at it in our 2005 Retrospective, but today its official: the Disco Biscuits will release its first live album since 2003 on April 18. The Wind at Four to Fly, released by Diamond Riggs Records through SCI fidelity, will feature studio mixed versions of live recordings from the Disco Biscuits final batch of performances with original drummer Sam Altman. At press time, the Disco Biscuits are currently in rehearsals for its upcoming tour, scheduled to kickoff February 3 with a moe. support date at Chicagos Aragon Ballroom. The trance-fusion pioneers have also added a pre-Langerado show at St. Petersburgs The Banks on March 9 with Brothers Past serving as the evenings opening act. While the electronic jambands have shared a number of festival bills in the past year, this marks the first time the longtime friends, and now label mates, have shared a club bill in three years.
