In addition to his role as guitarist in Gov’t Mule, the Allman Brothers Band and the Dead, Warren Haynes can now add DJ to his resume. At 1 PM next Tuesday, Haynes will appear on Sirius Jam_On with his wife, DJ Stef Scamardo, as part of the station’s Valentines’ Day special. The couple will talk shop on a number of music related topics and spin some choice cuts from their wedding, which featured performances by Gov’t Mule and the Radiators. Haynes recently wrapped up Gov’t Mule’s initial recording sessions for its forthcoming album and will link up with the Allman Brothers Band for its annual Beacon Theater residency on March 9.
