In December, The Bridges Kenny Liner made it into The Latest after joining Russell Baptistes all-star Katrina Relief Benefit at New Yorks Lions Den. On Monday, the Maryland-based beat boxer once again collaborated with a high-profile act, this time on his home turf. After the Bridge opened for Umphreys McGee at Baltimores Ram’s Head Live, Liner joined the Chicago jam-titans during their Jimmy Stewart improvisational segment. Umphreys McGees Presidents Day performance was also notable in the keyboard-department, with Joel Cummins playing grand piano during his performance.
Tonight, Umphreys McGee will perform at Charlotte, North Carolinas Neighborhood Theatre, while the Bridge will perform at Baltimores 8 X 10 tomorrow.
