The North Mississippi Allstars closed out their four shows opening for moe in collaborative fashion on Saturday at the Wolf Trap Filene Center in Vienna, VA. A night earlier at Philadelphia’s Festival Pier at Penn’s Landing, Cody Dickinson took the stage with moe. during set one (as his brother Luther had done on the previous night) adding washboard to ‘Time Again.’ Then at Wolf Trap all three of the Allstars joined in, with Cody on keys, Luther on guitar and Chris Chew on bass for a version of ‘Can’t You Hear Me Knocking’ that closed out set one. Both bands are off tonight before moe. resumes its tour tomorrow at New York City’s Rumsey Playfield while the Allstars begin an extended run with John Hiatt at the State Theatre in St. Petersburg, FL.
