The Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey is currently off the road until late August, however the band has announced shows through November with some intriguing evenings in the offing. On September 10 the band will route through Karl Densons hometown of San Diego and on that night KD will join the trio on sax for a show at Dizzys. On September 26, JFJO will appear at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst on a bill with the Slip and the Benevento-Russo Duo. Then in November the band will be in Europe for a tour that includes a stop at the Berlin Jazz Fest as well as shows in Sweden and the Netherlands.
