On April 6 the North Mississippi Allstars will participate in monthly benefit series at “New York Citys Housing Works Bookstore cafhttp://www.housingworks.org/usedbookcafe/. Proceeds from the performance will directed to the Housing Works organization, which provided assistance to homeless people living with AIDS in New York City. This edition of the ‘Live from Home’ series also will feature a special guest as Luther and Cody Dickinsons father Jim, will participate as well. The Housing Works gig is part of NMAs acoustic tour, which will travel to Philadelphia this evening for a stop at the World Cafive.
