Currently, My Morning Jackets lone confirmed live date is an appearance at Chicagos Lollapalooza festival. As a treat, the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra will join the group during its set as part of the symphonys 60th anniversary celebration. Last year My Morning Jacket also reworked a number of its songs for a series of shows with the Boston Pops. As previously reported, Lollapalooza will take place in Chicagos Grant Park from August 3-5, featuring performances by Pearl Jam, Daft Punk, Ben Harper & The Criminals, Muse, Iggy & The Stooges, Modest Mouse, Sound Tribe Sector 9, Interpol, Patti Smith, Kings of Leon, Satellite Party, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Snow Patrol, Soulive, The Roots, The Black Keys and The Hold Steady, among others.
