The Grateful Deads music will appear in the forthcoming video game Rock Band. Like Guitar Hero before it, Rock Band allows players to simulate the experience of playing in a rock band. According to MTV Games, 18 of the groups hits, including ‘Truckin’,’ ‘Uncle John’s Band,’ ‘Touch of Grey,’ ‘Sugar Magnolia,’ and ‘Casey Jones, will ‘be available as digitally distributed game levels following Rock Band’s release this holiday season. The Grateful Dead is actually the third group, following the Who and Metallica, to offer their music to Rock Band via digital distribution.
