Lexington, VAs Buffalo Creek Music Festival, the annual Washington & Lee student gathering organized in years past by alumni like both scene photographer C. Taylor Crothers and Relix/Jambands.coms very own Cole Boyle, will take place this Friday and Saturday at the Zollman’s Pavilion. The Benevento-Russo Duo will headline the 16th annual gathering, which also boasts performances by Outformation, The Bridge, Hackensaw Boys, Blueground Undergrass, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Gary Ruley and Mule Train with members of Larry Keel’s Natural Bridge, Nathan Moore and Farm Vegas. The Duo has also confirmed some additional shows, including stops at Falls Churchs State Theater (6/18), Virginia Beach, VAs The Jewish Mother (6/19), Downington, PAs School of Rock (6/20), Princeton, NJs Pettoranello Gardens (6/21), Asbury Park, NJs Stone Pony (6/27), Brooklyn, NYs The Yard (6/28) and Milwaukee, WIs Summerfest (7/2).
