Warren Haynes has announced a new presentation of his Dreams & Songs Symphonic Experience, staging at Nashville, Tenn.’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center on March 11-12, 2027. The storied Southern rock and blues singer/songwriter and guitarist will reunite with his Warren Haynes Band and the esteemed Nashville Symphony and conductor Rich Daniels, who previously collaborated with Haynes on Dreams & Songs – A Symphonic Journey in 2019 and the inaugural Dreams & Songs Symphonic Experience in 2024.
For his Nashville double-header next year, Haynes will be backed by the same Warren Haynes Band assembled for his last symphonic shows in 2024 and Million Voices Whisper, his solo studio album of the same year. Celebrated keyboardist and longtime collaborator John Medeski will join the lineup again with Gov’t Mule bassist Kevin Scott, former Phil Lesh & Friends saxophonist Greg Osby, backing vocalists Mayteana Morales and Saundra Williams and New Orleans’ Terrence Higgins on the drums. Higgins has been a regular member of Haynes’ revolving backing outfit since 2010 and joined the legendary musician and Medeski in 2022 for The Last Waltz Tour.
Tickets for the Dreams & Songs Symphonic Experience are available now for Nashville Symphony subscribers. A fan-club presale will begin on May 28, with a general on-sale following on June 1. Find more information at warrenhaynes.net.
On top of Haynes’ new symphonic dates, Gov’t Mule have returned today to detail the return of their Island Exodus destination festival. After a sudden cancellation earlier this year due to hurricane damage, the beloved annual tradition will return in 2027 at its new location of Hideaway at Royalton Blue Waters Montego Bay in Trelawny, Jamaica. The event’s 16th annual lineup remains intact: Beyond the host band, attendees will be treated to sets from John Scofield, moe. and Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, plus a vast array of other activities.
