Paul Simon has extended his A Quiet Celebration Tour into 2026 with a new North American summer run. The legendary singer-songwriter will continue the intimate, powerful run that brought his triumphant return to the spotlight after seven years away with 20 new performances across 10 cities from June 4 to July 18.
Simon’s new North American tour will follow a previously announced 21-show European series, stopping in 10 cities from April 9 to May 20. After a spell away from the spotlight, he’ll launch his Statesied outing from Palo Alto, Calif.’s Frost Amphitheater, then move to Los Angeles’ famed Hollywood Bowl on June 7. After wrapping his West Coast leg in San Diego, Simon will hike to Morrison, Colo.’s hallowed Red Rocks Amphitheatre for two nights on June 12 and 13, then frame a four-show Midwest run between sets in Kansas City, Mo. on June 16 and Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio on June 23.
In the wake of a one Canadian engagement at Toronto’s RBC Amphitheatre on June 25, Simon will arrive in the Northeast with a June 27 show at Lennox, Mass.’s Tanglewood, then sprint through stops in Gilford, N.H., Bethel Woods, N.Y. and Philadelphia before a night at Queens, N.Y.’s Forest Hills Stadium on July 8. He’ll truck down to the Southeast for performances in Raleigh, N.C., Atlanta and Franklin, Tenn., then finally bring the tour to a close with a two-night finale at Highland Park, Ill.’s Ravinia Festival on July 17 and 18.
Paul Simon concluded his farewell tour in 2018. Shortly afterwards, the artist revealed that he’d been afflicted by sudden and severe hearing loss in his left ear, which worsened rapidly during the recording of his 2023 album Seven Psalms to the point where he became all but incapable of performing. Last February, Simon surprised listeners everywhere by announcing his A Quiet Celebration Tour, which continued into early August with 55 engagements at iconic venues across North America, specially selected for their superior acoustics. His celebrated return was made possible by advancements in assistive audio technology and brought the live debut of Seven Psalms, his zeal for which encouraged him to overcome the odds against touring.
