Pavement have announced a new series of summer tour dates. From July 17-27, the groundbreaking indie-rock outfit will deliver seven performances at high-profile venues in the Pacific Northwest, Midwest and Southeast region. While concise, it’ll mark their first proper headline tour since their 2022 reunion; last year, their sole non-festival date was a standalone engagement at Dallas’ Longhorn Ballroom, where they resurrected “Texas Never Whispers” before their Levitation set, and their only independent date in 2024 was a one-off at New York’s Sony Hall heralding the premiere of Alex Ross Perry’s meta-docu-biopic Pavements.

Pavement will begin their summer tour with a July 17 pre-party for Oakland, Calif.’s Mosswood Meltdown, alongside Wednesday, Vivian Girls and the festival’s host, John Waters. They’ll jet up the coast for a performance at Portland’s Revolution Hall on the following evening, then work through the Midwest with shows as St. Paul, Minn.’s Palace Theatre, Chicago’s The Salt Shed and Cleveland’s Agora Theater & Ballroom from July 21-23. After bearing South to Richmond, Va.’s The National on July 25, the band will wrap their run at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium on July 27.

Tickets for all of Pavement’s new tour dates will go on sale this Friday, Jan. 16 at 10 a.m. local time. Find more information at pavementband.com.
