Missoula, Mont.’s Zootown Music Festival has unveiled its inaugural lineup. Scheduled for July 4-5, 2025 at the Missoula Fairgrounds, the stacked ticket features several talented musicians and ensembles, including headlining sets from Kacey Musgraves and Hozier.

Though this will be the very first Zootown, the event is already shaping up to be a heavyweight festival. Genre-spanning acts like Mt. Joy, Lake Street Dive, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, and Julien Baker will draw in fans of all generations and tastes. Along with Baker, Madi Diaz and Buck Meek will represent the alt/indie-rock scene, with Dogs In A Pile, Eggy, and Stolen Gin bringing a jam angle to the event. Modest Mouse and La Lom will also perform.

“Our goal is for the local and regional community to feel a deep sense of pride and ownership in this event, while giving visitors the chance to discover the unique spirit of Missoula, MT,” says founder Scott Osburn. “We’re thrilled about this opportunity and recognize the significant responsibility to create a festival that matches the ethos and awe-inspiring quality of its setting,” he concluded.

Additional performers set to participate in the year one event are Evan Honer, Mon Rovía, Lee Fields & The Expressions,  The Moss, Chaparelle, Lee Dewyze, Griffin William Sherry, Cole & The Thornes, Why We Went West, The Dead & Down and Give It To Em Florabelle!.
