While rounding to the end of a packed 2024, Duane Betts looks forward to the new year today as he announces his first set of dates for 2025. In April, the guitar ace and singer-songwriter will ride out with his Palmetto Motel band to a total of 10 performances. For his first announced outing of the year, Betts will limit his orbit to the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, racing from New Hampshire to Virginia in an 11-day sprint.

After an exciting end to 2024, Betts will begin his next tour with a staging at Albany, N.Y.’s Swyer Theatre at the Egg on April 9. The artist and his ensemble will continue the following evening with a second Empire State stop at Port Washington’s Landmark on Main Street, then cross over to Hartford, Conn. for an April 11 show at Infinity Hall Hartford. With sets at Fall River, Mass.’s Narrows Center for the Arts on April 12 and Plymouth, N.H.’s The Flying Monkey on April 15, Betts will take conclude his Northeast leg, then take his lone night off of the series before taking the stage again in the MId-Atlantic.

On April 15, Betts is set to assume the spotlight at Sellersville Theater in Sellersville, Pa., then bounce back up to Red Bank, N.J. for a staging at Count Basie Center for the Arts’ The Vogel venue. Next, on April 17, Betts & Palmetto Motel will take Rams Head On Stage in Annapolis, Md. To close out the tour, the band will plot a pair of shows in Virginia, first setting up in The Barns at Vienna’s Wolf Trap on April 18 and then concluding at Charlottesville’s Jefferson Theater on April 19.

In advance of these performances, Betts will bring on the long-awaited return of the Allman Betts Family Revival, his touring revue with Devon Allman to celebrate the legacy and immortal music of the Allman Brothers Band. This year, the Southern rock torchbearers will present 19 shows from Nov. 30 to Dec. 21, featuring an all-star lineup of collaborators including Luther Dickinson, Cody Dickinson, Sierra Hull, Robert Randolph, Lindsay Lou, Jackie Greene, Jimmy Hall, Anders Osborne and Jake Shimabukuro.
