Phish have announced an impending benefit concert series slated to take place over three nights, October 25-27, at MVP Arena in Albany, N.Y., with all proceeds gained through the event going toward the Divided Sky Residential Recovery Program and its newly opened facility in Ludlow, Vt. Today’s concert announcement arrives after the funky foursome closed out its 2024 Summer Tour on Sept. 1 at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo., the group’s four-evening follow-up, which succeeded the success of their 11th festival presentation.

The forthcoming charity concerts will further fundraising efforts for the Divided Sky Residential Recovery Program, a 501c(3) non-profit organization dedicated to addiction recovery. It was devised and founded by Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio in the wake of his own sobriety and offers 46 guests a safe and nurturing setting to address and work toward abstinence from substance abuse.

Located in a newly remodeled former hotel with views of nearby Okemo Mountain, the Divided Sky facility harnesses its power to a non-clinical program steeped in 12 Steps, promoting emotional sobriety and mindfulness. According to the band’s official press release, “the Albany benefit concerts will enable Divided Sky to continue to make its immersive Residential Recovery Program affordable to all, with partial scholarships available to those who demonstrate need.”

A limited number of complimentary gratitude tickets will be available to recovery professionals to recognize their essential work in helping individuals and families affected by addiction. Anyone who works in recovery or a related mental health field may request tickets at DividedSky.org/benefit. Geographic priority will be granted to New York State and New England.

Moreover, curated experiences may be available to those interested in making more significant philanthropic donations to the Divided Sky Foundation. For more details, email [email protected]

The impending benefit series follows a landmark year for Phish, who recently delivered its 16th studio album, Evolve, and followed with the successful continuation of its festival format last month. The band will also return to Moon Palace Cancun for Phish: Riviera Maya 2025. Learn more.
