Umphrey’s McGee spent part of the weekend on the road with Blues Traveler. On Thursday night, the two groups appeared at Redding, CA’s Redding Civic Auditorium. During Umphrey’s McGee’s set, Blues Traveler guitarist Chan Kinchla emerged for the Umphrey’s McGee original “Bad Friday.”

The next night, the bands performed at Napa, CA’s The Meritage Resort and Spa. Early on in Umphrey’s McGee’s show, Blues Traveler frontman John Popper played harmonica on the old-school Umphrey’s McGee number “Glory” and then remained onstage for their first cover of The Rolling Stones’ “Miss You” since August 8, 2021.
