Sarah Jarosz has just shared her latest single, “Days Can Turn Around,” off her upcoming Polaroid Lovers record. The new song is the fourth release to tease the artist’s 7th studio album, produced by Daniel Tashian and set to be released on January 26.

“Days Can Turn Around” opens with the sweet strum of a guitar. The track unfolds as a gently swaying folk ballad threaded with instructions for living well no matter life’s circumstances. It was scribed alongside Tashian in the same session as the previous single release, “Columbus & 89th,” on a trip to Alabama’s Orange Beach.

“It seemed like the perfect setting to write a hopeful gem,” explains Jarosz. “We wanted to try to include as many nuggets of a mother’s wisdom that could help anyone get through a bad day… knowing that even the worst of times can turn around and get a little bit better.”

As the final preview for her upcoming album, it follows other releases, including “Jealous Moon” and “When The Lights Go Out.” Polaroid Lovers finds Jarosz reflecting on her past while also filled with the confidence and conviction of someone who truly knows herself.
