Circles Around the Sun have teamed up with Mikaela Davis and her band, And Southern Star, for a tour slated to take off on February 28 at The Atlantis in Washington, D.C. On the road, the bands will offer independent sets plus collaborations, making for multi-faceted evenings intended for the Northeast and Midwest U.S.
After their initial night on stage, the bands will follow up at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, N.J., on Feb. 29. From there, they will arrive at The Ardmore Music Hall in Ardmore, Pa., on March 1, before taking the stage the next night at New York’s Brooklyn Bowl. Continuing their East Coast appearances, the musicians will perform at Deep Dive in Ithaca, N.Y., on March 3.
Circles Around the Sun and Davis will bring their joint production to Infinity Music Hall in Hartford, Conn., followed by a night in Portland, Maine, on March 7. The next evening, the bands will take the stage at Brighton Music Hall in Boston before dropping down to Buffalo, N.Y.
The Midwest leg of the tour will pick up after a night in Pittsburgh, taking the artists through Indianapolis, Grand Rapids, and Ferndale, Mich., back to Ohio, and eventually to Chicago on March 21, where they will play at the Chop Shop. Ensuing stops will occur in Madison and Milwaukee, Wis., before coming to a close on March 24 at the Turf Club in St. Paul, Minn.
