Last night, Goose performed at Knox Farm State Park in East Aurora, N.Y., in part of the fifth annual Borderland Festival. During their performance, the Connecticut-based jamband were joined by none other than brothers Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith of American folk rock ensemble Dawes.

The brothers who are based in Los Angeles and play alongside Wylie Gelber and Lee Pardini in Dawes, joined Goose for a rendition of their 2016 release “Rosewood Heart.”

The jam tracked in at nearly 30 minutes and marked the latest collaboration between the members of the two bands, who previously connected during Goose’s Fred The Festival at LOCKN’ Farm in Arrington, Va., in 2022. The time and experiences between the performances only added to the harmonious union between Goose and Dawes’ members as they guidinged an immense musical vehicle which traversed a landscape of admiration, cheers and applause.

Watch Goose and the Goldsmith’s performance below and catch an especially tastey solo by Taylor Goldsmith at the 6:25 mark.
