Today, Leftover Salmon announced their plans for New Years’s Eve. The bluegrass troubadours will mark the occasion by participating in a string of shows at Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, Calif., performing nightly on Dec. 29, 30, and 31.
The Bay Area celebration will include special guests during the two final gigs. On Saturday, Dec. 30, the troupe will welcome David Nelson, a regional favorite, co-founder, and longtime New Riders of The Purple Sage member. Also included is an appearance by another luminary, folk and blues singer, Maria Muldaur, who will partake in the Sunday, Dec. 31 show.
Leftover Salmon’s New Year’s Eve plans arrive after the group returns from Strings & Sol in Puerto Morelos, Mexico, on Dec. 6 through 10. Also included in the destination concert event are Greensky Bluegrass, Yonder Mountain String Band, Railroad Earth and more.
