Oteil & Friends have plotted a series of fall tour dates that will kick off with the arrival of their previously announced slot at the Sea Hear Now festival in Ashbury Park, N.J., on Sept. 16. The impending run will see the bassist and his team of collaborators travel along the Eastern Seaboard beginning in September.

After the group’s festival appearance, Burbridge, along with Melvin Seals, Steve Kimock, Duane Betts, Jason Crosby, Johnny Kimock and Lamar Williams Jr. will take the stage at the Browns Island venue in  Richmond, Va., on Sept. 17. The band will pop up to Boston’s The Wilbur before moving along to Ardmore Music Hall in Ardmore, Pa., for two consecutive nights of music on Sept. 20 through 21.

Next on the docket, Oteil & Friends will arrive at The Strand in Providence, R.I., on Sept. 22, before following up a few nights later at The Music Hall in Portsmouth, N.H. From there, they’ll dip back down to the Southern region of the U.S., where they’ll stop in Charlotte, N.C., and Asheville, N.C.

The tour will close at the end of September, with final shows scheduled for Sept. 29 at The Caverns in Pelham, Tenn, and Sept. 30 at The Charleston Pour House in Charleston, S.C. The newly added Oteil & Friends fall tour stops will arrive after festival showings at Rye Bread Music and Arts Festival, Roots Rock Revival and Hot August Music Festival.
