Electron has announced that they will host a benefit concert for the family of Chuck Morris on May 15, at the Ardmore Music Hall, just outside of Philadelphia. With support from Lotus bassist Jesse Miller’s solo project Beard-O-Bees, band members Marc Brownstein (The Disco Biscuits), Aron Magner (The Disco Biscuits), Tom Hamilton (JRAD) and Lotus drummer Mike Greenfield will take the stage for a night of live music, healing and community.
The venue shared details about the event this afternoon, May 10, after Lotus posted the devastating news on their social media that after a 24-day search, the bodies of Chuck and his son, Charley, had been recovered.
Electron’s Tom Hamilton reposted the event flier on his own Instagram page with the caption, “I still don’t know to say about Chuck’s passing or how to process the loss, but getting together with the Philly guys to make sure we’re doing right by his family is a no-brainer. If you’re around, please come out and help us all celebrate and grieve Chuck and Charley.”
Tickets for the event are on sale now on the venue’s website. All money raised through the sale of tickets will benefit the family of Chuck and Charley Morris.
Fans can also support the Morris family’s immediate financial needs by donating to their official GoFundMe.
