Robert Plant and Alison Krauss have announced that they will reunite for their first international tour in over a decade. The duo has shared an extensive list of dates that will see the team of musicians support their 2021 T Bone Burnett-produced LP, Raise the Roof–the follow-up to their 2007 Grammy-award-winning collection, Raising Sand.
The impending run of concerts is scheduled to commence on April 25 at Shreveport Municipal Auditorium in Shreveport, La., before the pair follow up the next night in The Woodlands, Texas. From there, Plant and Krauss will work their way through Alabama and Kentucky prior to a stand at Rose Music Center in Huber Heights, Ohio.
In continuation of their excursion, the players will return to the Southern region of the U.S., where they will appear on stage for concerts in Missouri, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia before embarking on the Southwestern leg of the tour, slated to take place in Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico.
On June 18, the musicians will take a stand at Telluride Bluegrass Festival in Telluride, Colo., before moving over to Bonner, Mont., for a June 20 gig at Kettlehouse Amphitheater. Next, they will pop up in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, prior to a performance at Wolf Trap in Vienna, Va., on June 29.
Plant and Krauss will spend the first night of July at the fabled Bethel Woods Center for the Arts venue, before jumping over to Tanglewood Music Center in Lenox, Mass., on July 12. The final tour dates will take place in Portland, Maine and Toronto.
Pre-sale for this leg of the Raising the Roof tour will commence at 10 a.m., local time on Feb. 1. General on-sale will follow on Feb. 3 at 10 a.m. Visit plantkrauss.com to purchase tickets.
