The Black Keys have shared plans to mark their 20th anniversary by releasing their first-ever concert, which occurred on March 31, 2002, at Beachland Tavern in Cleveland. The album has been dubbed Live at Beachland and will be released on Nov. 18 in limited edition vinyl formatting.
The impending release includes a selection of tracks that find the duo, Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney, in the early stages of promoting their initial studio album, The Big Come Up, which dropped on May 14, 2002, and in turn, pulls in numbers that later appeared on their debut drop.
The live collection sees the band run through “Busted,” “I’m For You,” “Do The Romp” and “I’ll Be Your Man” on Side A, while “Yearnin’,” “No Trust,” “Them Eyes” and “The Moan” make up Side B. Collectively, the record features eight pristine tracks which capture a unique moment in the band’s timeline.
At this time, pre-orders are sold out. For more information, visit theblackkeys.com.
