On Oct. 9, a music festival will be held at the Mystic Seaport in Mystic, Conn. The single day affair, dubbed Mystic Folkways, is presented by Westerly Sound and features a lineup of musicians curated by Sean W. Spellman. 

Today, the folks behind the imminent festival shared the list of artists slated to take the stage come October. Some of the musical acts scheduled to play include Deer Tick, Ian Felice (Felice Brothers), Martin Courtney (Real Estate) and Nick Panken (Spirit Family Reunion).

Moreover, the festival will see Tim Easton, James Maple, Karl Blau, Cankickers, Wildflowers and the Sol/Rio Family Band hit the stage on Oct. 9. In addition to music, the event will also present attendees with the opportunity to take a boat ride, tour the shipyard and village as well as indulge in some local cuisine. 

Mystic Folkways is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 9, and will wrap up around 7 p.m. local time. For those planning to attend, it is recommended to bring a chair or blanket for seating. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by visiting WesterlySound.org
