Last night, Dave Matthews Band delivered an 18-song single set performance at the Brandon Amphitheater in Brandon, Miss. The concert featured several fan favorites and a bust out of “Old Dirt Hill (Bring That Beat Back),” played for the first time with a full band since Sept. 8, 2018.

The first set got underway with a jammed-out take on “Seek Up” before unleashing “Warehouse,” a tune that captures the full range of Matthews’ pipes. Next, the ensemble slowed things down with a sweet take on “Grace Is Gone” ahead of a rare live performance of “Break for It.” The latter was first performed live in 2010 and made a handful of concert appearances that year before it was busted out earlier this month in Austin, Texas.

Next, Dave Matthews Band played their high energy number “Tripping Billies” off 1993’s Remember Two Things ahead of the night’s bust out of “Old Dirt Hill (Bring That Beat Back).” “Madman’s Eyes” came next before the band let loose a 12-minute take on “Jimi Thing.”

“When the World Ends” came next, ahead of “Walk Around the Moon” and “Grey Street.” Then, the band rocked the venue with a soulful take on “Break Free.” 2009’s “Funny the Way It Is” was then performed right before Dave Matthews Band dug into “What Would You Say.” Next, the ensemble played a 16-minute rendition of “Crush,” followed by “Don’t Drink the Water” and “You & Me.”

For the set’s final song, Dave Matthews Band played “Two Step,” off 1996’s Crash. Then, after leaving the stage briefly, the band returned to deliver an encore performance which began with “The Space Between,” followed by a “Kill the Preacher” tease, which segued into the final song of the band’s Brandon, Miss. performance, “Why I Am.” The band will head to Huntsville, Ala., for a show at Orion Amphitheatre tonight.
