On Monday, Little Feat performed at the Florida Theatre in Jacksonville, Fla. The gig included a special sit-in by local resident Susan Tedeschi and an appearance by Amy Helm. Little Feat is currently on tour to celebrate the 45th anniversary of their seminal album, Waiting for Columbus.

Following an extended jaunt through the southern region of the U.S., Little Feat arrived in Jacksonville, Fla., following a performance at Johnny Mercer Theatre in Atlanta, Ga., on April 23. Monday night’s show began with “Fat Man In The Bathtub,” followed by “All That You Dream” and “Oh Atlanta.”

The band then pulled out “Old Folks Boogie” before moving into a pairing of “Time Loves A Hero” and “Day Or Night.” They capped the jam with “Mercenary Territory” before unleashing fan favorite, “Spanish Moon.” Little Feat then performed “Dixie Chicken” into “Tripe Face Boogie.”

After another segue pairing of tunes, Tedeschi joined the band. The musician lent her mastered guitar chords on “A Apolitical Blues,” a song that originally appeared on Little Feat’s 1972 LP, Sailin’ Shoes. Later, another special guest joined the band. During a performance of “Fool Yourself,” both Helm and Tedeschi sang background vocals.

Following their show in Jacksonville, Fla., Little Feat will embark on a month-long hiatus before picking things back up on May 26, when they head to the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium in Asheville, N.C. From there, they will appear at a handful of summer festivals, such as Rooster Walk 12, Summer Camp and Camp Greensky Festival. Then, they will continue with their anniversary tour on July 21, when they play at the Taft Theatre in Cincinnati.
