Billy Strings has announced the details for his upcoming summer tour, which will see the young bluegrass icon play some of his largest stages yet. The 20 added dates to his already packed 2022 will kick off on June 15 at the Rose Music Center at The Heights in Dayton, Ohio, after the musician wraps his Spring 2022 tour at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium May 6, 7 and 8.

Strings and his band banjoist Billy Failing, mandolinist Jarrod Walker and bassist Royal Masat will visit outdoor venues across the country, including a three-night run at the Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary, N.C., a stop at The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City, a string of shows at the Iroquois Amphitheater in Louisville, Ky., two nights at McMenamins Edgefield in Troutdale, Ore. and more. Strings and his crew will also make an appearance at The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in mid-June.

Tickets for the summer tour dates will be sold over two phases starting on March 7 for the first eight evenings and March 14 for the last 12 shows.

Last night, Strings performed with Bobby & Wolf Bros and Les Claypool at Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, Calif. Read more here.
