Following Phish’s announcement that they will livestream three complete sets this New Year’s Eve from the Ninth Cube, without an audience, Phish Radio shared a clip of Trey Anastasio alluding to a food pairing for the upcoming sets.

“The pandemic created an opportunity. It was like lemons into lemonade.” Trey said in a brief interview clip with Sirius XM’s Phish Radio host, Ari Fink.

Days prior, the band had shared a statement hinting at a food pairing, “This show is part of Phish’s Dinner And A Movie series, and so there shall be dinner! The recipes were chosen by the band and feature Trey’s own recipe for Lemonade, a Whole Roasted Chicken with Lemon, a Lemon Pasta vegetarian entrée, and for dessert: Lemon Bars.”

With a food pairing in the works and livestream in place, fans can join in on the fun by following Phish’s recipes for a zesty New Year’s Eve. Find the recipes here

Phish will take the stage at 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 31, the free webcast is available on Phish’s YouTube channel and LivePhish.com. A simulcast is also accessible on Phish Radio via Sirius XM.
