Joe Russo has announced an upcoming residency on Late Night With Seth Meyers on Dec. 13 through 16. The drummer will join the 8g Band for the three-night sit-in next month.

This will be the fourth Late Night stint for Russo, after making his national television debut with fellow musician Craig Finn of The Holy Steady in 2015. The New Jersey native also sat in as a guest musician on the program in 2015, early 2017 and again in June 2018.

The drummer took to Instagram, writing, “So excited to be back on @latenightseth with the amazing @8gband Dec 13-16! Birthday week! Party time! A real nice way to sail into 45.”

Russo is among a long list of talented drummers to perform with the 8g Band, including Tim “Herb” Alexander (Primus), Abe Laboriel Jr. (Paul McCartney), Glenn Kotche (Wilco), Janet Weiss (Sleater-Kinney).
