Bon Iver have announced that they will be celebrating the ten-year anniversary of their album Bon Iver with a two-night run at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, Calif. on Oct. 22 and 23.
The shows will feature a return to the production from the album’s original tour back in 2012 combined with L-ISA Hyperreal Sound, a spatial audio technology Bon Iver used during select dates during their fall 2019 tour, which “Fosters a deeper sense of connection with live music,” according to an Instagram post made by the group.
In addition to the announcement of their return to live shows and the anniversary shows Bon Iver announced they will release a limited-edition reissue titled, Bon Iver, Bon Iver (10th Anniversary Edition) on CD and LP on Jan. 14, 2022. The special edition will include five songs from their AIR Studios session which marks the tracks’ availability on physical formats and across streaming for the first time, along with a minimal white-on-white reimagination of the original cover art. The album will also include a personal essay from Phoebe Bridgers.
Tickets will be available to the general public on Friday, Aug. 20 at 10:00 a.m PST.
