Dave Schools, Widespread Panic Halloween 2016
Widespread Panic will return to New Orleans this Halloween, playing three nights at the Lakefront Arena.
“Fall without a Halloween run? Don’t think so! Panic returns to Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana for three shows, October 29, 30, and 31, 2021,” reads an official announcement.
Panic fans will recall that the Crescent City is a frequent Halloween destination for the band – their last spooky outing being in 2019 at the same venue.
The band perplexed fans on Oct. 31, 2019 with their spot-on Andy Kaufman theme, complete with a Tony Clifton cameo to abruptly end the show.
Guests that evening also included bass legend George Porter Jr. and fellow Athens, Ga. export Mike Mills of R.E.M.
Ticketing info for Widespread Panic’s return to NOLAween has yet to be announced.
