The bipartisan voter registration organization HeadCount has shared an update for the nail-biting 2020 presidential election, noting, “Every vote should be counted. It’s a simple idea, and undisputable.”

Founded in 2004, HeadCount recently celebrated 1 million registered voters in its lifetime. Previously, they’ve gone on tour with everyone from Dead & Company to Billie Eilish to Ariana Grande to register voters of all ages and backgrounds.

“HeadCount is gratified to see that turnout for the 2020 election was the highest since 1900,” the organization added. “But this national achievement would be sullied if every vote that was cast yesterday or before, within the guidelines that each state provides to its voters, is not counted. This applies to every race, local or national. Democracy is worth waiting for.”
