On Sunday, April 26, rock photographer Linda Wolf will host a multimedia livestream celebrating the 50th anniversary of Joe Cocker’s famed Mad Dogs & Englishmen tour.

According to a press release, “In addition to offering her own personal stories from the Joe Cocker: Mad Dogs & Englishmen tour, Wolf will interview a host of original MD&E band members, along with artists who participated in the LOCKN’ Festival tribute concert” such as Warren Haynes, Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks and Doyle Bramhall II.

Wolf recently compiled a batch of her archival photos fro Tribute: Cocker Power, a comprehensive visual diary celebrating the 1970 tour and tracing its legacy up to Tedeschi Trucks Band’s 2015 tribute concert at LOCKN’.

In the past Wolf has described Joe Cocker’s Mad Dogs & Englishmen Tour as “a two-month traveling hippie circus that left hotel managers tearing their hair out, concert promoters screaming about a dog on stage, girls dancing naked on the rooftops of a New York city hotel, and forty-three people, including three kids and a five-person film crew, traveling together on a private jet that had COCKER POWER painted on it’s side.”

The “Cocker Power Spectacular” will kick off on Sunday, April 26, at 1 p.m. PT/ 4 p.m. ET on the Cocker Power Book website as well as on YouTube and Facebook.
