In support of her new LP Threads, Sheryl Crow recently made a stop at NPR’s Tiny Desk to perform a batch of tunes both old and new.
Crow and her band open with her longtime hit “All I Wanna Do,” and continue on with Everyday is a Winding Road cut “A Change Would Do You Good.”
Later, she joked with the crowd about how she continues to write comprehensive songs in the age of snappy, “fast food” music.
“We’re dinosaurs,” she jests. “…We’re the songwriters that are here to tax your attention span.”

December 11, 2019 at 5:58 pmI have to say that every time I see Sheryl sing and play I am driven to tears. If it makes you happy, it can’t be that bad – those words and the memory of seeing her on stage in Norman, OK at Owen Field opening up for the Rolling Stones was a concert highlight for me. Walking across the football field as her band fired up and Sheryl singing that song blew my mind and impacted me the same way it did this afternoon. Thanks for the Threads Sheryl Crow!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to Relix!!!
